Title:

Architecting Software-Defined Vehicles Through
Model-Based Design

The development of software-defined vehicles demands processes that can help decouple software from hardware, design self-contained apps for easy updates, and automate software build and testing, while still ensuring the consistency and traceability required for software quality, safety, and security. Model-Based Design presents clear benefits that facilitate the transition from conceptualizing software architecture to designing components, and then back to integrating and testing software—thereby ensuring a higher quality and reliability of the final product. This presentation will reveal how recent advancements in Model-Based Design are bringing this vision to life. Investments have been made to develop an environment that accommodates significant trends such as service-oriented architectures, development of components based on code, virtual testing, continuous integration, and more.
