Latha is a dynamic business leader with more than three decades of experience. She joined Continental in August 2021 as the head of Technical Center India which is a 6000 people organization. In her role, she is responsible for engineering competence for global and local markets, focusing on Automotive Technologies that include Autonomous Mobility and Safety, and Vehicle Networking and Information business areas and several Center of excellences in the new technology area. She is also responsible for the strategy and growth of the center into a trusted partner contributing to Continental’s global R&D expertise.
Before joining Continental, Latha was a part of Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Pvt Ltd, where she was responsible for the complete powertrain and electrification domain. She has also worked with Siemens Automotive in Germany and in Siemens Information Systems Ltd, handling business development in South Africa. She started off her career as an R&D engineer in the Bharat Heavy Electricals, Bangalore . Latha was an awardee of the Top 10 women tech leaders award in 2022 and also as top 100 influential leaders in the Artificial Intelligence space in 2023. She was also recently awarded as the Solidarity Idol by Wequity and also Women in Leadership WILL Choice awards.
Her expertise includes building powerful technology teams which create value and differentiation for the business. She is also a certified coach from CFI. Latha holds a B.Tech degree in applied electronics and instrumentation from the Trivandrum college of engineering.
